imf meeting opec says producers not to blame for high oil prices
Qatar's oil minister blamed high oil prices on 'horrible' speculation and 'geopolitics' rather than any shortage of supplies.
'This frenzy is fabricated by speculators who are taking advantage of it in the most horrible way,' Abdullah bin Hamad al-Attiya told reporters.
'If you can stop the politicians from making negative statements, I am sure you will see almost 15 dollars disappear from the price.'[...]

Bush won't exclude iran nuke strike

Uncle Chutzpah and his willing executioners-the media, UN and coalition of the cowardly and bribed-have isolated Iran and set her up for possible destabilization and aggression. One wouldn't think this possible given the remarkable parallels in argument and (phony) evidence in this case and that of the failed aggression in Iraq, but the power of the aggressor and subservience of the media and international community are apparently boundless...
